Nevada Electrical Licensing
& Continuing Education Requirements
- 4 years experience as a journeyman, foreman, supervising employee or contractor in the field of work for which a license is being sought. The four (4) years experience must have occurred within the ten (10) years immediately preceding filing of an application.
- Training received in a program offered at an accredited college or university may be used to satisfy a portion (no more than 3 years) of the required experience.
A Nevada Electrical Contractor License expires every two years.
There are NO state continuing education requirements for electrical licenses in Nevada. Please check with your county or local municipality for any requirements they may have.
